The whole idea is that we look at the examples, but rarely can we construct our own work from those samples. If you've been using writing samples for tests, you know how restricting they can be.But a new technology has changed all that. A tool is a reality in which students can take advantage of. Texting, that's what it is called.Texting is how we ask the computer what you want to say. And the answer is; diphthongs. What are diphthongs? Well, it's another letter combination that you have used already in English to describe a vowel or a consonant.The combination of diphthongs is the last vowel or the first consonant of the word. It sounds like the a in the word bird and then the two ds on each side sound like a piece of wood. Just like with the word plane, but on a much smaller scale. Also known as a tension, diphthongs can be us ed in both right and left-hand, both front and back, and so on. However, you should be careful because most diphthongs can also be closed in the right hand.Unfortunately, the software that usually comes with Texting doesn't actually recognize diphthongs. That is, Texting cannot distinguish between the d in bird and the two is in the way you've provided. (I've made a chart to demonstrate the diphthongs in air but you can download a Word file with the chart.) Also, Texting is limited to only simple sentences. You can also use the fill character in the text area.Another drawback of Texting is that it doesn't have the classic French textbook-level look to it. It's more of a black and white approach. You can change the colors of the graph by clicking on the preview icon in the upper left-hand corner of the window.You can also select a source file with diphthongs and use that, or select text samples from any of your e-books. Using Texting allows you to select words and sentences, and now you can write as you would in English with only the difference of diphthongs. It also allows you to make the text look like you did in textbooks. As long as you can't tell what diphthongs are, it seems like Texting is the answer to all your essay writing needs.

In Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, the Beast singlehandedly removes civilization from the island. At first, the Beast is only perceived as a minor fear, however, by the end of the book, it is perceived as an idol. The Beast is first introduced as a figment of the boys’ imagination, but further develops into a legitimate creature—by the boys—later on. By the end, the Beast becomes an actual G-d that the boys worship by offering sacrifices to it, symbolizing the substitution of civilization with savagery by the boys. These beauty standards, largely proliferated through the media, have drastic impacts on young women and their body images. Put simply, the beauty ideal in American culture is: thin. Advertising, she asserts, draws on people’s insecurities to convince them to buy a product, and few populations are as insecure overall as adolescent girls—which is why media literacy programs are so important for them. In programs such as that designed by national organization Girls, Inc. , girls learn how to look behind the scenes and messages that advertisements are producing in order to reconcile their own bodies with the view of â€Å"perfection† presented by the media. The programs already in place have been found to be very effective; â€Å"College-age women have been the main focus, but 10-11 year-old girls are the most important target so that they can have these [critical] processes going on before internalizations of messages have really started,† Cutler explained. But what sorts of standards do the media portray for women who are not white and not upper class, and how does this affect the body images of women in these groups? This question, Cutler has found, is one that is not always well addressed in the scholarly material she has read. I realized at some point in my research that I had been universalizing the experience of a particular set of girls privileged by their race and, even more so, socioeconomic background. It did not help that this blind-spot was reflected back to me in some of my research,† Cutler said. While she asserts that certain standards of beauty are universal throughout the country and across all demographic s, Cutler believes that media literacy programs should take racial and socioeconomic backgrounds more into consideration. Different groups have different issues and concerns, she said. For example, overeating is a real issue as an eating disorder, especially for lower-class women. Malcom X bought things a little further and was far more dangerous to civil rights leaders than he was to the establishment. I think that Malcom X was far more respected than MLK. He was for black owned schools, black owned businesses, black owned towns, etc. He saw that we were basically not going to go anywhere taking hand outs from the same people who oppressed us for years. He was not a person who was all talk, on a meager salary he set up organizations in the black communities like Muslim school where children learned to speak some of known African languages. He set up an area of black owned businesses. There are some of his predictions, which have come true for the black people in the United States. Like he knew that the civil right leaders were not going to change a damn thing for black people he says that they can’t possibly do anything with the help of a government that oppressed you in the first place, and that these civil leaders will of course be held in high regard because they are not proposing that black people get off their asses and make something of themselves. They would rather give out money to a select few to show that there is a fairness in the system. In one of his speeches he directly point out the fallusies.† For the past fifteen years the struggle of the Black man in this country was labeled as a civil rights struggle, and as such it remained completely within the jurisdiction of the United States. You and I could get no kind of benefits whatsoever other than that which would be forthcoming from Washington D.C. Which meant, in order for it to be forthcoming from Washington, D.C., all of the congressmen and the senators would have to agree to it.†At that time the most powerful congressmen and the most powerful senators were from the south. Most of the Black people were enslaved in the south. So in other words civil right leaders were asking the same persons who would not let them vote, for privileges, which were never really given. He would constantly refer to the civil right leaders as uncle toms. He never said that directly to a newspaper, but you knew whom he was talking about. Especially when he was in a debate with them. An Uncle Tom is the as the slaves see it. Is the person in the Masters house, he told on the other slaves just to please his master and did nothing that would lead one to believe that he had any self-respect for himself. I guess that it was a way to deal with the stress of being a slave. Persons like that get publicly killed in Africa for doing the same thing, but my point being that they did every thing to please the master and even lived in the masters own house. He would answer the master by saying, †how our WE doing today?† and â€Å"is WE sick master?†Malcom X did not get up and say. â€Å"I have a dream where all people black and white can ride on the bus together†. Uneducated high death rates, and no work ethic. He would have nothing to do with MLK now if he were alive today. MLK would not be sitting on his ass collecting a paycheck for doing nothing. Malcom X was a good father and set good examples for his children and others. He did not smoke and he did not cheat on his wife. I think he was truly focused on his mission of helping his people to over come this tyranny. He was not just thinking of himself. I think that people of today forget that it was only 40years ago that they had white only water fountains and blacks could not ride in the front of busses. Most important is that being black we are still in the same conditions that we are in when we left the plantations. That from Malcoms point of view we need to do a lot more work on each other, and that we have to get rid of the true oppressors of the black people. Them so-called civil rights leaders, I would like to say that it is not because of our oppressors that we are still in this bad state. That it was our own people who sold us out. My hero truly being Malcom X. He will one day sit upon that seat of famous people like Albert Einstein, Mozart, Michael Angelo, and so on. Because he was ahead of his time. In this corrupt world all the wrong heroes are put forth to the public. One day after all these evil people disappear. We will see who were the true heroes of this century, the true contributors.
